Health Literacy UK and Stoke-on-Trent City Council Public Health invite you to join us at this seminar, which will focus on the importance of health literacy to children and their carers.

The seminar will include the presentation of research and practical examples of health literacy in action. There will also be opportunities for networking, and sharing good practice.

Lucy Bray, Professor of Child Health Literacy, Edge Hill University: Children’s Health Literacy when attending hospital for procedures.

Rosie Mansfield: ‘Adolescent Mental Health Literacy: Current Challenges and Inconsistencies’

Children’s Health Literacy in Northern Ireland (Belfast Healthy Cities)

Target Audience

Anyone with an interest in Health Literacy, and in particular, anyone working with children and their carers. Health practitioners, educators, researchers and those involved in health policy development are particularly encouraged to take part.
