Seminar 3

Claire Ramsey works as a Health and Wellbeing Manager in the Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT) in Northern Ireland.  She qualified as a Dietitian in 2003 she took up post in North Yorkshire and has worked across acute, community and health promotion services with adults, children and families. During this time she developed an enduring interest in multi-disciplinary working, person-centred and personalised care planning.
Since returning to Northern Ireland in 2014 her career evolved from clinical dietetics to community health and wellbeing services. In this capacity in 2019, tasked to develop health literacy, she engaged members of the local community to co-produce the development of health literacy initiatives and promote good practice both for those who use services and those who provide them.

Currently she is working to develop an integrated social prescribing service, founded on good health literacy practices, incorporating the principles of co-production throughout service design.
