Jane Hawley
Jane works for Derbyshire County Council as a Healthcare Public Health Practitioner. She’s been involved in various projects in her role within the Public Health Team over the last 7 years and is currently contributing to the prevention and health inequalities agenda by developing and embedding a health literacy approach across the Derbyshire healthcare system with a particular focus on:
- Promoting opportunities for the wider public health workforce to become trained in health literacy awareness
- Supporting a range of partners to turn this learning into action as they identify ways for their teams and services to become more health literate.
